  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to agriculture; providing funding to 
  1.3             establish the Minnesota center for agricultural 
  1.4             innovation; authorizing the sale of state bonds; 
  1.5             appropriating money. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [CENTER FOR AGRICULTURAL INNOVATION; 
  1.8   APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.9      Subdivision 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] $....... is appropriated 
  1.10  from the bond proceeds fund to the commissioner of agriculture 
  1.11  for a grant to the city of Olivia to establish the Minnesota 
  1.12  center for agricultural innovation to promote agricultural 
  1.13  innovation by providing a place for experts to gather and study 
  1.14  agricultural technology. 
  1.15     Subd. 2.  [BOND SALE.] To provide the money appropriated in 
  1.16  this act from the bond proceeds fund, the commissioner of 
  1.17  finance shall sell and issue bonds of the state in an amount up 
  1.18  to $....... in the manner, upon the terms, and with the effect 
  1.19  prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, 
  1.20  and by the Minnesota Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7. 
  1.21     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.22     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
