  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to state lands; authorizing public sale of 
  1.3             certain tax-forfeited land that borders public water 
  1.4             in Hubbard county. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND; HUBBARD COUNTY.] 
  1.7      (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45 and 
  1.8   282.018, subdivision 1, Hubbard county may sell the 
  1.9   tax-forfeited land bordering public water that is described in 
  1.10  paragraph (c), under the remaining provisions of Minnesota 
  1.11  Statutes, chapter 282. 
  1.12     (b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the 
  1.13  attorney general. 
  1.14     (c) The land that may be conveyed is located in Hubbard 
  1.15  county, consists of four lots plus interests in an outlot 
  1.16  located on Tenth Crow Wing Lake, and is described as: 
  1.17     (1) Crowsnest Lot Eight (8), Block Two (2) and 1/38 
  1.18  Interest in Outlot A; 
  1.19     (2) Crowsnest Lot Fourteen (14), Block Three (3) and 1/38 
  1.20  Interest in Outlot A; 
  1.21     (3) Crowsnest Lot One (1), Block Three (3) and 1/38 
  1.22  Interest in Outlot A; and 
  1.23     (4) Crowsnest Lot Fifteen (15), Block Three (3) and 1/38 
  1.24  Interest in Outlot A. 
  1.25     (d) The county has determined that the lake has a developed 
  2.1   public access, the lots are best suited for residential 
  2.2   purposes, and the county's land management interests would best 
  2.3   be served if the lands were returned to private ownership.
