  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to county fee lands; ratifying certain sales 
  1.3             of county fee lands in Lake county. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [LAKE COUNTY LAND SALES RATIFIED.] 
  1.6      (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 373.01, the 
  1.7   conveyances by Lake county, Minnesota, of the following county 
  1.8   fee lands are hereby ratified: 
  1.9      (1) one parcel of land sold October 29, 1993, by Lake 
  1.10  county, Minnesota, to Darrel and Harriet Kempffer, being a 
  1.11  five-acre county fee parcel of land described as the North 
  1.12  One-half of the West One-half (N 1/2 of W 1/2) of the West 
  1.13  One-half (W 1/2) of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest 
  1.14  Quarter (NW 1/4 of NW 1/4), Section Two (2), Township Fifty-two 
  1.15  (52) North, Range Eleven (11) West, Lake county, Minnesota, 
  1.16  constituting five acres; 
  1.17     (2) four parcels of land sold July 18, 1994, by Lake 
  1.18  county, Minnesota, described as: 
  1.19     (i) Lot One (1), Five Mile Hill Plat, Lake county, 
  1.20  Minnesota, sold to Diane Cullen; 
  1.21     (ii) Lot Four (4), Five Mile Hill Plat, Lake county, 
  1.22  Minnesota, sold to Thomas Muehlburger; 
  1.23     (iii) Lot Seven (7), Five Mile Hill Plat, Lake county, 
  1.24  Minnesota, sold to Thomas Muehlburger; 
  2.1      (iv) Lot Six (6), Five Mile Hill Plat, Lake county, 
  2.2   Minnesota, sold to John McClellan; 
  2.3      (3) four parcels of land sold October 7, 1994, by Lake 
  2.4   county, Knife River, Minnesota, described as: 
  2.5      (i) Lot One (1) Granite Point Plat, Lake county, Minnesota, 
  2.6   sold to Tim Stoddart; 
  2.7      (ii) Lot Two (2) Granite Point Plat, Lake county, 
  2.8   Minnesota, sold to Tim Stoddart; 
  2.9      (iii) Lot Three (3), Granite Point Plat, Lake county, 
  2.10  Minnesota, sold to Lee Jensen; 
  2.11     (iv) Lot Four (4), Granite Point Plat, Lake county, 
  2.12  Minnesota, sold to Lee Jensen; and 
  2.13     (4) a parcel of land sold July 21, 1995, by Lake county, 
  2.14  Minnesota, described as: 
  2.15     The East Two Hundred Eight and 7/10 (e. 208.7) feet of the 
  2.16  West Eight Hundred Thirty-four and 8/10 (W.834.8) of the South 
  2.17  Two Hundred Forty-two (S.242) feet of the South One-half (S 1/2) 
  2.18  of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter (NW 1/4 of SW 
  2.19  1/4), Section Five (5), Township Fifty-nine (59) North, Range 
  2.20  Eight (8) West, Stony River Township, Lake county, sold to 
  2.21  Dorothy Johnson. 
  2.22     (b) Through an error, the sales of the lands described in 
  2.23  paragraph (a) were conducted using the procedure for public 
  2.24  sales of tax-forfeited lands rather than the applicable public 
  2.25  sale procedure in Minnesota Statutes, section 373.01.
