  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to education; authorizing a levy for special 
  1.3             assessments for independent school district No. 204, 
  1.4             Kasson-Mantorville. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [LEVY FOR SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS.] 
  1.7      Each year, independent school district No. 204, 
  1.8   Kasson-Mantorville, may levy the amount needed to make special 
  1.9   assessment payments imposed by a local unit of government 
  1.10  according to Minnesota Statutes, chapter 429. 
  1.11     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.12     Section 1 is effective July 1, 1996, and applies for taxes 
  1.13  payable in 1997 and later years.
