  1.2             relating to transit; restoring funding for 
  1.3             metropolitan and greater Minnesota transit assistance 
  1.4             in fiscal year 2005; appropriating money. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION; METROPOLITAN COUNCIL TRANSIT.] 
  1.7      $12,700,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   Metropolitan Council for fiscal year 2005 for the purposes of 
  1.9   Laws 2003, First Special Session chapter 19, article 1, section 
  1.10  3, paragraph (b). 
  1.11     [EFFECTIVE DATE.] This section is effective July 1, 2004.
