 relating to veterans affairs; appropriating money for Metro Meals on Wheels.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; METRO MEALS ON WHEELS.

new text begin (a) $468,000 in fiscal year 2023 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of veterans affairs for a grant to Metro Meals on Wheels to provide:
 new text end

new text begin (1) home-delivered meals to veterans; and
 new text end

new text begin (2) technical, enrollment, fund-raising, outreach, and volunteer recruitment assistance
to member programs.

new text begin (b) The base appropriation is $468,000 in fiscal year 2024 and $0 in fiscal year 2025.
