A bill for an act
 relating to agriculture; adding two new members to the Agricultural Utilization
Research Institute; amending Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 116V.01,
subdivision 2.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 116V.01, subdivision 2, is amended to read:


Subd. 2.

Board of directors.

The board of directors of the Agricultural Utilization
Research Institute is comprised of:

(1) the chairs of the senate and the house of representatives standing committees
with jurisdiction over agriculture finance or the chair's designee;

(2) two representatives of statewide farm organizations;

(3) two representatives of agribusiness; deleted text begin and

(4) three representatives of the commodity promotion councilsnew text begin ; and
