relating to the State Fire Code; modifying motor-fuel dispensing operations;
proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 239.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

new text begin (a) Requirements for motor-fuel dispensing operations for liquefied petroleum gas under
Minnesota Rules, part 7511.2307, IFC 2307.3, are met if the fuel is dispensed by a person
responsible for the product or if the person responsible for the product provides the user
with instruction on the safe operation of the system. For purposes of this paragraph, "person
responsible for the product" means the same as "operator" or "attendant of the operator"
under Minnesota Rules, part 7511.2307, IFC 2307.3.

new text begin (b) Requirements for self-service liquefied petroleum gas dispensing systems under
Minnesota Rules, part 7511.2307, IFC 2307.5, are met if the self-service dispensing system
owner or operator provides written instruction for the dispensing system.
