A bill for an act
relating to the legislature; modifying the date on which the legislature must meet
in odd-numbered years; modifying the definition of legislative day; amending
Minnesota Statutes 2022, sections 3.011; 3.012.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2022, section 3.011, is amended to read:


3.011 SESSIONS.

The legislature shall meet at the seat of government on the first Tuesday after the deleted text begin firstdeleted text end new text begin

Sec. 2.

Minnesota Statutes 2022, section 3.012, is amended to read:


3.012 LEGISLATIVE DAY.
