  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to state lands; authorizing sale of certain 
  1.3             tax-forfeited lands that border public water in Wadena 
  1.4             county. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [PUBLIC SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND BORDERING ON 
  1.7   PUBLIC WATER; WADENA COUNTY.] 
  1.8      Subdivision 1.  [SALE REQUIREMENTS.] (a) Notwithstanding 
  1.9   Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45 and 282.018, subdivision 1, 
  1.10  Wadena county may sell the tax-forfeited lands bordering public 
  1.11  water that are described in subdivision 2 under the remaining 
  1.12  provisions of Minnesota Statutes, chapter 282. 
  1.13     (b) The county has determined that the county's land 
  1.14  management interests would best be served if the lands were 
  1.15  returned to private ownership. 
  1.16     (c) The conveyances must be in a form approved by the 
  1.17  attorney general. 
  1.18     Subd. 2.  [DESCRIPTIONS.] The lands that may be conveyed 
  1.19  are located in Wadena county and are legally described as 
  1.20  follows: 
  1.21     (1) City of Wadena (Parcel No. 22700080), Lot Eight (8), 
  1.22  Block One (1), Winkels Addition to Wadena, according to the plat 
  1.23  on file in the office of the Wadena County Recorder; 
  1.24     (2) City of Wadena (Parcel No. 227700100), Lot Ten (10), 
  1.25  Block One (1), Winkels Addition to Wadena, according to the plat 
  2.1   on file in the office of the Wadena County Recorder; and 
  2.2      (3) City of Wadena (Parcel No. 227700120), Lot Twelve (12), 
  2.3   Block One (1), Winkels Additions to Wadena, according to the 
  2.4   plat on file in the office of the Wadena County Recorder. 
  2.5      Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  2.6      Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
