  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to state lands; authorizing the conveyance of 
  1.3             certain lots in Crow Wing and Morrison counties; 
  1.4             amending Laws 1995, chapter 238, section 1, 
  1.5             subdivision 2. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Laws 1995, chapter 238, section 1, subdivision 
  1.8   2, is amended to read. 
  1.9      Subd. 2.  [AUTHORIZATION.] Notwithstanding Minnesota 
  1.10  Statutes, section 103F.215, the counties of Crow Wing, Hubbard, 
  1.11  Cass, and Morrison may allow the sale or transfer, as a separate 
  1.12  parcel, of a lot within shoreland, as defined in Minnesota 
  1.13  Statutes, section 103F.205, subdivision 4, that: 
  1.14     (1) is located wholly within the Mississippi headwaters 
  1.15  corridor, as identified in the plan, or is located anywhere 
  1.16  within Crow Wing, Hubbard, or Morrison county; 
  1.17     (2) is one of a group of two or more contiguous lots that 
  1.18  have been under the same common ownership since July 1, 1981; 
  1.19  and 
  1.20     (3) does not meet the residential lot size requirements in 
  1.21  the model standards and criteria adopted by the commissioner of 
  1.22  natural resources under Minnesota Statutes, section 103F.211. 
  1.23     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.24     This act is effective the day following final enactment.
