  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to highways; designating the Veterans 
  1.3             Memorial Highway; amending Minnesota Statutes 1994, 
  1.4             section 161.14, by adding a subdivision. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1994, section 161.14, is 
  1.7   amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.8      Subd. 31.  [VETERANS MEMORIAL HIGHWAY.] Trunk highway No. 
  1.9   131, marked trunk highway No. 115, is named and designated as 
  1.10  the "Veterans Memorial Highway."  The commissioner shall adopt a 
  1.11  suitable marking design to mark this highway and shall erect the 
  1.12  appropriate signs.
