  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to appropriations; authorizing state bonds; 
  1.3             appropriating money to Ramsey county to renovate the 
  1.4             Ford Bridge. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [FORD BRIDGE IMPROVEMENTS.] 
  1.7      Subdivision 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] $2,000,000 is appropriated 
  1.8   from the bond proceeds fund to Ramsey county to renovate, 
  1.9   repair, and improve the Ford Bridge between Minneapolis and St. 
  1.10  Paul. 
  1.11     Subd. 2.  [BOND SALE.] To provide the money appropriated in 
  1.12  this act from the bond proceeds fund, the commissioner of 
  1.13  finance, on request of the governor, shall sell and issue bonds 
  1.14  of the state in an an amount up to $2,000,000 in the manner, 
  1.15  upon the terms, and with the effect prescribed by Minnesota 
  1.16  Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the Minnesota 
  1.17  Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7. 
  1.18     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.19     Section 1 is effective the day after its final enactment.
