  1.2                          A bill for an act 
  1.3             relating to traffic regulations; modifying imposition 
  1.4             of civil fine for excessive gross weight; amending 
  1.5             Minnesota Statutes 2000, sections 169.871, subdivision 
  1.6             1; 169.872, subdivision 1, by adding a subdivision.

  1.14     We, the undersigned conferees for H.F. No. 2884, report 
  1.15  that we have agreed upon the items in dispute and recommend as 
  1.16  follows:

  1.18     That the Senate recede from its amendment and that H.F. No. 
  1.19  2884 be further amended as follows: 
  1.20     "Page 3, after line 22, insert: 
  1.21     Sec. 4.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.22     Sections 1 to 3 are effective the day following final 
  1.23  enactment."

  2.2   bill.
