  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; appropriating money for a loan 
  1.3             repayment assistance program. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [LOAN REPAYMENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM; 
  1.6   APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $50,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 1997 from the 
  1.8   general fund to the higher education services office for the 
  1.9   loan repayment assistance program of Minnesota.  The money must 
  1.10  be used to reimburse graduates of Minnesota law schools working 
  1.11  in Minnesota communities who are eligible under the criteria for 
  1.12  loan repayment assistance for institutional law school debt.
