relating to arts and culture; appropriating money for Penumbra Center for Racial
Healing.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

$2,000,000 in fiscal year 2023 is appropriated from the arts and cultural heritage fund
to the Minnesota Humanities Center for a grant to the Penumbra Theatre Company for
planning and predesign of the Penumbra Center for Racial Healing, a multiuse facility that
will serve as a statewide resource, offering theater and other artistic events, equity training
services, wellness opportunities, and community and civic engagement.
