  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to agriculture; providing funding for the 
  1.3             passing on the farm center; appropriating money. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $50,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.7   commissioner of agriculture for a grant to the passing on the 
  1.8   farm center under Minnesota Statutes, section 17.985.  This 
  1.9   appropriation is available only to the extent it is matched by 
  1.10  nonstate money.  This appropriation is available during the 
  1.11  biennium ending June 30, 1997. 
  1.12     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.13     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
