  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to the capitol area; requiring the capitol 
  1.3             area architectural and planning board to select a site 
  1.4             in the capitol area for installation of the memorial 
  1.5             to Minnesota firefighters that is now installed at 
  1.6             Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. 
  1.7   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.8      Section 1.  [FIREFIGHTERS MEMORIAL.] 
  1.9      The capitol area architectural and planning board shall 
  1.10  select an appropriate site in the capitol area for installation 
  1.11  of the memorial to Minnesota firefighters that is now installed 
  1.12  at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, provided, 
  1.13  however, that the board has first been assured to its 
  1.14  satisfaction that nonstate sources are available to cover the 
  1.15  entire cost of site selection and the removal, transportation, 
  1.16  and reinstallation of the memorial.
