A bill for an act
relating to state government; requiring disclosure of certain salaries of employees
of nonprofit corporations receiving appropriations or grants from the state;
proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 16A.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

This section applies to a nonprofit corporation that receives a direct appropriation
of state funds or that receives a grant of state funds. As a condition of receiving the
appropriation or grant, the nonprofit corporation must agree to disclose to the state the
name, position title, and salary of each employee who receives an annual salary of
$100,000 or more. Information received by the state under this section is public data.

and applies to an appropriation made or a grant received after that date.
