relating to natural resources; requiring a native quail recovery plan.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin QUAIL RECOVERY PLAN; REPORT.

new text begin The commissioner of natural resources, in consultation with interested parties, must
develop a detailed plan to recover the historical native population of quail in Minnesota for
its ecological, recreational, and economic benefits to the citizens of the state. No later than
January 15, 2015, the commissioner must report on the plan's progress to the legislative
committees with jurisdiction over environment and natural resources policy and finance.
