A bill for an act
relating to education; requiring the State High School League to arrange a
requesting school's football schedule; amending Minnesota Statutes 2010,
section 128C.02, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 128C.02, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

new text begin (a) The league shall adopt league rules and
regulations:

new text begin (1) defining a full football schedule; and
new text end

new text begin (2) establishing a policy allowing a member school to request that the league arrange
a full football schedule for the school consisting of games against schools located in
Minnesota.

new text begin (b) The league may adopt rules and regulations requiring contracts for football games
between member schools to include a clause allowing the league to amend the contract.
