  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to highways; changing restriction of lanes on 
  1.3             I-394; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota 
  1.4             Statutes, chapter 161. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [161.1232] [I-394; USE OF LANES.] 
  1.7      Subdivision 1.  [PROHIBITION.] The commissioner of 
  1.8   transportation may not restrict the use of any lanes on marked 
  1.9   interstate highway No. 394 for the exclusive use of 
  1.10  high-occupancy vehicles. 
  1.11     Subd. 2.  [REVERSIBLE LANES.] The commissioner shall by 
  1.12  order designate the lanes on marked interstate highway No. 394 
  1.13  formerly restricted to high-occupancy vehicles as reversible 
  1.14  lanes for one direction of travel during periods of peak traffic.
