A bill for an act
 relating to environment; modifying disposition of solid waste management tax
revenue; appropriating money; amending Minnesota Statutes 2006, section
297H.13, subdivision 2.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 297H.13, subdivision 2, is amended to
read:


Subd. 2.

Allocation of revenues.

(a) deleted text begin $33,760,000, or 70 percent, whichever is
greater, ofdeleted text end The amounts remitted under this chapter must be credited to the environmental
fund established in section 16A.531, subdivision 1.

(b) deleted text begin The remainder must be deposited into the general fund.deleted text end new text begin Thirty percent of the
amount credited to the environmental fund under paragraph (a) is appropriated to the
commissioner of the Pollution Control Agency for environmental assistance activities.
Of this amount:
