A bill for an act
relating to clean water; appropriating money for Lake Elmo water supply
improvements.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin LAKE ELMO; WATER SUPPLY.

new text begin $4,000,000 in fiscal year 2015 is appropriated from the clean water fund to the
commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to the city of Lake
Elmo to acquire land and easements and design, construct, and equip a booster station and
water main lines along Inwood Avenue and Lake Elmo Avenue and to acquire land and
easements and design, construct, and equip a water tower on the corner of Inwood Avenue
and 10th Street. This appropriation is not available until the commissioner of management
and budget determines that at least an equal amount is committed to the project from
nonstate sources. The appropriation is available until expended.
