A bill for an act
relating to capital investment; providing an infrastructure funding grant for
Elbow Lake.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin INFRASTRUCTURE FUNDING GRANT; ELBOW LAKE.

new text begin Of the amounts available to the Public Facilities Authority for grants and loans to
eligible municipalities under Minnesota Statutes, chapter 446A, $1,250,000 is for a grant
to the city of Elbow Lake for sewer rehabilitation and extension, new water supply lines,
and necessary road repairs related to the sewer and water project. The grant under this
section must not exceed 50 percent of the total project costs. The grant to Elbow Lake
is not subject to the 2008 project priority list or to grant limitations and requirements
including, but not limited to, the requirement for a USDA/RECD match under Minnesota
Statutes, section 446A.072, subdivision 5a.
