BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

appropriated from the general fund to the Department of Education for the fiscal years
designated.

new text begin (b) Project Success must use the grants received under paragraph (a) to expand proven
programming to additional high-need school districts and communities in Greater Minnesota.
Programs must be designed to help middle and high school students plan and prepare for
their futures; develop essential skills for college, career, and life after high school; and
increase their academic motivation and engagement.

new text begin (c) By March 15 of each year, Project Success must prepare and submit a report to the
legislature describing the programs offered, program outcomes by site, students served by
site, and a methodology for evaluating the overall success of Project Success.
