  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to education; authorizing a levy for 
  1.3             independent school district No. 279, Osseo. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [OSSEO LEVY.] 
  1.6      For taxes payable in 1999 only, independent school district 
  1.7   No. 279, Osseo, may levy a tax in an amount not to exceed 
  1.8   $800,000.  The proceeds of this levy must be used to provide 
  1.9   instructional services for at-risk children. 
  1.10     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.11     Section 1 is effective July 1, 1998.
