  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to real estate; requiring the transfer 
  1.3             without consideration of certain land from the board 
  1.4             of trustees of the Minnesota state colleges and 
  1.5             universities to the Willmar school district. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [LAND TRANSFER.] 
  1.8      Notwithstanding other law, the board of trustees of the 
  1.9   Minnesota state colleges and universities shall without 
  1.10  compensation transfer to the school board of independent school 
  1.11  district No. 347 up to seven acres in the southwest corner of 
  1.12  approximately 40 acres of undeveloped technical college property 
  1.13  previously transferred by the school board and legally described 
  1.14  as "The Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter (SE 1/4 of 
  1.15  the SW 1/4) of Section 4, Township 119, Range 35."  The number 
  1.16  of acres transferred shall be as specified by the school board.  
  1.17  Unless and until the school board elects to develop this 
  1.18  property for its own educational purposes, the board of trustees 
  1.19  of the Minnesota state colleges and universities shall have 
  1.20  access to the property at no cost for the purpose of 
  1.21  agricultural instruction.  If the school board elects to develop 
  1.22  the property, it shall do so only for an educational purpose.  
  1.23  If the school board develops the property for other than an 
  1.24  educational purpose, uses the property without developing it, or 
  1.25  no longer desires to hold the property, the property shall 
  2.1   revert to the state on behalf of the board of trustees of the 
  2.2   Minnesota state colleges and universities.
