A bill for an act
relating to highways; designating a Veterans Memorial Bridge on marked Trunk
Highway 95 in the city of North Branch; amending Minnesota Statutes 2008,
section 161.14, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 161.14, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

new text begin The bridge over marked Interstate Highway
35 that is part of marked Trunk Highway 95 is designated as "Veterans Memorial Bridge."
Subject to section 161.139, the commissioner shall adopt a suitable marking design to
memorialize the bridge and shall erect the appropriate signs.
