  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to education; authorizing independent school 
  1.3             district No. 742, St. Cloud, to use remaining bond 
  1.4             proceeds for the purchase of a community education 
  1.5             site. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [USE OF BOND PROCEEDS.] 
  1.8      Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 475.58, 
  1.9   subdivision 4, independent school district No. 742, St. Cloud, 
  1.10  upon passage of a written resolution specifying the amount and 
  1.11  purpose of the expenditure, may expend up to $800,000 from its 
  1.12  building construction fund on a community education site. 
  1.13     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.14     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
