A bill for an act
 relating to veterans; appropriating money for a veterans memorial in the city of
Forest Lake.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin FOREST LAKE VETERANS MEMORIAL.

new text begin $225,000 in fiscal year 2023 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of administration for a grant to the Forest Lake Veterans Memorial Committee to construct
a memorial to veterans of the United States Armed Forces at Lakeside Memorial Park in
the city of Forest Lake. This appropriation is onetime and is available until the project is
completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.
