  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to human services; providing a rate increase 
  1.3             for a nursing facility in Ramsey county; amending 
  1.4             Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 256B.431, by adding a 
  1.5             subdivision. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 256B.431, is 
  1.8   amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.9      Subd. 31.  [FACILITY RATE INCREASE EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2001.] 
  1.10  For a nursing facility in Ramsey county licensed for 180 nursing 
  1.11  home beds on September 30, 2000, the total payment rate for each 
  1.12  case mix class shall be increased by $10.76 for the rate year 
  1.13  beginning July 1, 2001, in addition to any other rate 
  1.14  adjustments provided under this section or any other section.  
  1.15  This amount shall be included in the facility's operating rates 
  1.16  and total payment rates for the purpose of determining future 
  1.17  rates under this section or any other section.
