A bill for an act
 relating to elections; transferring money from the Help America Vote Act account
to the Voting Equipment Grant account.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin TRANSFERS.

new text begin (a) All unobligated amounts in the Help America Vote Act account appropriated under
Laws 2019, First Special Session chapter 10, article 1, section 40, are transferred to the
voting equipment grant account for grants to political subdivisions under Minnesota Statutes,
section 206.95. These funds are available until March 23, 2023.

Laws 2020, chapter 77, section 3, are transferred to the voting equipment grant account for
grants to political subdivisions under Minnesota Statutes, section 206.95. These funds are
available until December 21, 2024.
