  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education finance; expanding the time 
  1.3             period for the repayment of state aid by independent 
  1.4             school district No. 482, Little Falls. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [AID REPAYMENT; LITTLE FALLS.] 
  1.7      Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, the department of 
  1.8   children, families, and learning must allow independent school 
  1.9   district No. 482, Little Falls, to repay over a five-year period 
  1.10  state aid overpayments for fiscal years 1998 and 1999 resulting 
  1.11  from the district's miscalculation of pupil units for those 
  1.12  years.
