  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [HUMAN SERVICES.] 
  1.6      The following amounts are appropriated from the general 
  1.7   fund to the department of human services for the following 
  1.8   purposes:  
  1.9   Epilepsy demonstration 
  1.10  grants                                             $    460,000
  1.11  Supplemental nutrition 
  1.12  funding                                                 300,000
  1.13  Outdoor recreation 
  1.14  camping grants                                           30,000
  1.15  New Chance program grant                                280,000
  1.16  Indian Child Welfare 
  1.17  Law Center                                              280,000
  1.18  Project Empowerment                                     200,000
  1.19  Parents Fair Share                                    1,200,000
  1.20  Asian-American juvenile 
  1.21  crime prevention                                      1,000,000
  1.22     The appropriations are available for the biennium ending 
  1.23  June 30, 2001. 
  1.24     Sec. 2.  [DEPARTMENT OF CHILDREN, FAMILIES, AND LEARNING.] 
  1.25     The following amounts are appropriated from the general 
  1.26  fund to the department of children, families, and learning for 
  1.27  the following purposes:  
  2.1   Male responsibility grants                         $    500,000
  2.2   Transitional housing program                            600,000
  2.3   Emergency services program                              600,000
  2.4   Lead hazard reduction
  2.5   program                                                 300,000
  2.6      The appropriations are available for the biennium ending 
  2.7   June 30, 2001. 
  2.8      Sec. 3.  [DEPARTMENT OF TRADE AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT.] 
  2.9      The following amounts are appropriated from the general 
  2.10  fund to the department of labor and industry to make grants for 
  2.11  the following purposes:  
  2.12  Rural Policy Center                                $    500,000
  2.13  Metropolitan Economic 
  2.14  Development Association                                 310,000
  2.15  WomenVenture                                            530,000
  2.16  St. Paul Rehabilitation 
  2.17  Center                                                1,000,000
  2.18  Hennepin and Ramsey counties-
  2.19  community development corporations                      200,000
  2.20  Community development 
  2.21  corporations                                            100,000
  2.22  Community resources program                           2,000,000
  2.23     The appropriations are available for the biennium ending 
  2.24  June 30, 2001. 
  2.25     Sec. 4.  [DEPARTMENT OF LABOR AND INDUSTRY.] 
  2.26     $408,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  2.27  department of labor and industry for the labor education 
  2.28  advancement program.  The appropriation is available for the 
  2.29  biennium ending June 30, 2001.  
  2.30     Sec. 5.  [DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION.] 
  2.31     The following amounts are appropriated to the department of 
  2.32  administration for the following purposes:  
  2.33  Public television                                  $    513,000
  2.34  Public radio                                            611,000
  2.35  Twin Cities regional cable                                6,000
  2.36     The appropriations are available for the biennium ending 
  2.37  June 30, 2001. 
  2.38     Sec. 6.  [DEPARTMENT OF MILITARY AFFAIRS.] 
  3.1      $400,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  3.2   department of military affairs for youth activities.  The 
  3.3   appropriation is available for the biennium ending June 30, 2001.
