  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to capital improvements; authorizing the 
  1.3             issuance of bonds to renovate the Sandstone elementary 
  1.4             school into the multiagency family services resource 
  1.5             and learning center; appropriating money. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [FAMILY SERVICES RESOURCE AND LEARNING CENTER.] 
  1.8      Subdivision 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] $2,000,000 is appropriated 
  1.9   from the bond proceeds fund to the commissioner of children, 
  1.10  families, and learning for a grant to the St. Croix river 
  1.11  education district to renovate the Sandstone elementary school 
  1.12  into the multiagency family services resource and learning 
  1.13  center. 
  1.14     Subd. 2.  [BONDS.] To provide the money appropriated by 
  1.15  this section from the bond proceeds fund, the commissioner of 
  1.16  finance, on request of the governor, shall sell and issue bonds 
  1.17  of the state in an amount up to $2,000,000 in the manner, on the 
  1.18  terms, and with the effect prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, 
  1.19  sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the Minnesota Constitution, 
  1.20  article XI, sections 4 to 7.
