A bill for an act
relating to veterans; appropriating money for grants
to an assisted living and rehabilitation services
provider.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin SERVICE TO VETERANS; APPROPRIATIONS.

new text begin $500,000 for fiscal year 2006 and $500,000 for fiscal year
2007 are appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of veterans affairs for grants to the Minnesota Assistance
Council for Veterans to provide transitional housing, permanent
housing, case management, living skills, and supportive services
to veterans and their families motivated toward positive
lifestyle changes.
