relating to health; appropriating money for international medical graduates
assistance program grants.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL GRADUATES
ASSISTANCE PROGRAM.

new text begin $3,250,000 in fiscal year 2020 and $3,250,000 in fiscal year 2021 are appropriated from
the general fund to the commissioner of health for grants under the international medical
graduates assistance program in Minnesota Statutes, section 144.1911. These appropriations
are in addition to base level funding for this program from the health care access fund. The
general fund base for this program is $3,250,000 in fiscal year 2022 and $3,250,000 in fiscal
year 2023 only.
