A bill for an act
relating to transportation; appropriating money for the reconstruction of marked
Trunk Highway 23 between the cities of Pipestone and Russell.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

$85,000,000 in fiscal year 2024 is appropriated from the trunk highway fund to the
commissioner of transportation for predesign, design, engineering, and reconstruction of
marked Trunk Highway 23 from U.S. Highway 75 in the city of Pipestone to 1.8 miles north
of marked Trunk Highway 91 in the city of Russell. This is a onetime appropriation and is
available until June 30, 2027.
