BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin U.S. HIGHWAY 8 RECONSTRUCTION AND EXPANSION;
APPROPRIATION.

$35,000,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 2016 from the trunk highway fund to the
commissioner of transportation for a grant to Chisago County to reconstruct and expand
marked U.S. Highway 8 from two to four lanes between Forest Lake and Chisago City.
