  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to agriculture; providing funding for 
  1.3             research into creating hydrogen from ethanol to be 
  1.4             used to produce affordable electricity; appropriating 
  1.5             money. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.8      $....... is appropriated in fiscal year 2005 to the 
  1.9   commissioner of agriculture to make grants to the University of 
  1.10  Minnesota or other appropriate entities to continue research on 
  1.11  making hydrogen from ethanol and to create a demonstration 
  1.12  project using this hydrogen to supply electricity to selected 
  1.13  Minnesota consumers.
