A bill for an act
 relating to crimes; providing for applicability of certain old sex offender
provisions for crimes committed before enactment of new sex offender law;
amending Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 609.3455, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 609.3455, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

of Minnesota Statutes 2004, section 609.108, to crimes committed before August 1, 2005,
or the validity of sentences imposed under Minnesota Statutes 2004, section 609.108.
