A bill for an act
relating to highways; exempting Floodwood safety rest
area from restriction on food and beverage sales.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin FLOODWOOD SAFETY REST AREA.

Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 160.2725,
subdivisions 1 and 5, the operator of the safety rest area in
the city of Floodwood may sell nonalcoholic beverages and snack
foods without regard to vending machine sales or any conflicting
written agreement. This provision may not be waived by contract
or other agreement.
