A bill for an act
relating to higher education; appropriating money to
the Board of Regents of the University of Minnesota
for research support.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

$20,000,000 in fiscal year 2006 and $15,000,000 in fiscal
year 2007 are appropriated from the general fund to the Board of
Regents of the University of Minnesota for research support.
The funding base for this initiative in fiscal years 2008 and
2009 is $15,000,000 each year.
