A bill for an act
relating to higher education; appropriating money to
the Board of Trustees of the Minnesota State Colleges
and Universities for the innovations fund.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $5,500,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the
Board of Trustees of the Minnesota State Colleges and
Universities for the fiscal biennium ending June 30, 2007, for
curriculum design and equipment for new educational programs and
services to meet the needs of business, industries, and
communities, and to leverage financial contributions from
business and industry to support program and curriculum
development.
