A bill for an act
relating to transportation; requiring certain striping on Trunk Highway 47.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin TRUNK HIGHWAY 47 STRIPING.

new text begin By July 1, 2009, the commissioner of transportation shall:

new text begin (1) stripe marked Trunk Highway 47 to have at least four lanes, excluding turn lanes,
from the intersection with Bunker Lake Boulevard NW to the intersection with Alpine
Drive in the city of Ramsey;

new text begin (2) stripe a northbound right-hand turn lane from marked Trunk Highway 47 onto
Bunker Lake Boulevard NW in the city of Ramsey, so that the turn lane starts at the
intersection of marked Trunk Highway 47 and Coolidge Street; and

new text begin (3) eliminate the right-hand edge striping on northbound marked Trunk Highway
47 from the intersection with Pleasant Street to the intersection with Martin Street in
the city of Anoka.
