relating to human services; appropriating money for recovery community
organization grants.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATIONS; RECOVERY COMMUNITY ORGANIZATION
GRANTS.

new text begin $2,000,000 in fiscal year 2022 and $2,000,000 in fiscal year 2023 are appropriated from
the general fund to the commissioner of human services for grants to recovery community
organizations, as defined in Minnesota Statutes, section 254B.01, subdivision 8, to provide
for costs and community-based peer recovery support services that are not otherwise eligible
for reimbursement under Minnesota Statutes, section 254B.05, as part of the continuum of
care for substance use disorders.
