  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; providing for a grant for the 
  1.3             colocation of the program and services of the 
  1.4             Minnesota River Valley Education District and 
  1.5             Southwest Minnesota Workforce Development Center; 
  1.6             appropriating money. 
  1.7   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.8      Section 1.  [MINNESOTA RIVER VALLEY EDUCATION DISTRICT AND 
  1.9   SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT CENTER; 
  1.10  APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.11     $1,655,000 in fiscal year 2000 is appropriated from the 
  1.12  general fund to the commissioner of children, families, and 
  1.13  learning for a grant to the Minnesota river valley education 
  1.14  district for the colocation of the Minnesota river valley 
  1.15  education district and southwest Minnesota workforce development 
  1.16  center programs and services including the collaboration of the 
  1.17  delivery of their services.  The Minnesota river valley 
  1.18  education district is the owner of the building and for the 
  1.19  purposes of this grant, the fiscal agent for the southwest 
  1.20  Minnesota workforce development center.  This appropriation is 
  1.21  available until June 30, 2001.
