A bill for an act
 relating to economic development; appropriating money for the Minnesota Film
and TV Board.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $750,000 in fiscal year 2008 and $750,000 in fiscal year 2009 are appropriated
from the general fund to the director of Explore Minnesota Tourism for a grant to the
Minnesota Film and TV Board for the film jobs production program under Minnesota
Statutes, section 116U.26. Of these amounts, up to $25,000 each year may be used for
administration. The base budget for the film jobs production program is $500,000 in fiscal
year 2010 and $500,000 in fiscal year 2011. If an appropriation for this purpose is enacted
more than once, the appropriation is effective only once.
