A bill for an act
 relating to taxation; amending the expiration of the authority for Hennepin and
Ramsey Counties to impose a mortgage and deed tax; amending Minnesota
Statutes 2012, sections 383A.80, subdivision 4; 383B.80, subdivision 4.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 383A.80, subdivision 4, is amended to read:


Subd. 4.

Expiration.

The authority to impose the tax under this section expires
January 1, 2013 ........

EFFECTIVE DATE.

This section is effective the day following final enactment.

Sec. 2.

Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 383B.80, subdivision 4, is amended to read:
